Posting a note for my uncle Ed "Pop" Leary, who was 30 years old when he joined the Army in January 1944. He became part of the 95th at Indiantown Gap PA and served in company I, 359th throughout 95th division combat operations. Bronze Star recipient for action 14 Dec 1944 in the vicinity of Saarlautern-Roden.
Still going strong at 95 years of age and says hello to all of his pals from the 95th!95

I am looking for information on my dad Dalton Jones. He was from Louisville, Ky and earned the purple heart and bronze star. An uncle said he served with a recon unit. Dad never talked about the war or his service. He drank heavily and we were not close. I guess I would just like to know a little something about the man I never knew. I would appreciate any help that anyone can give me. Thanks for your service to our country from a former combat Marine. Greg Jones

Folks: Thankyou for this wonderful website commemorating the sacrifice of so many WWII members of the 95th Infantry Division. My father, Evo J. Grigoni, was a member of the 378th, killed in action at or near Metz on 17 Nov 1944. If anyone knows of him, please write me at the above email address.
